Press Release
Maxlink and Lanlink Win Radio World Magazine's “Cool Stuff” award at NAB 2003
for immediate release
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA. April 10, 2003. The Maxlink and the Lanlink, manufactured by Moseley Broadcast, are the winners of radio’s most prestigious technology honor, the “Cool Stuff” Award, given by the editorial staff of Radio World newspaper at the NAB2003 convention.

Radio World Editor Paul J. McLane said the winning products were selected by a panel of engineers and industry journalists as notable for their design, features, cost efficiency and performance in serving radio users. It also means the product caused them to stop in the aisles and say, "Oh, cool!"

The Maxlink wireless 5 GHz UNII and ISM band data link is a leading-edge wireless data network product designed to provide an easy to deploy, cost-effective alternative to T1/E1, DSL and cable modems. It interfaces easily with ATM or IP, and can be used to extend infrastructure up to 8 miles in point-to-point and point-to-multipoint configurations.

The Lanlink 900 is a long range high speed industrial wireless IP/Ethernet/IP Facility Controller solution. It allows broadcasters to take advantage of existing 950 MHz aural STL antenna infrastructure, while bringing LAN connectivity along with two RS-232 data circuits between a single Studio and multiple Transmitter/Studio sites. It connects remote controls and audio codecs for back-up STL, and can provide audio/video connectivity. According to Moseley representatives, there was a great deal of interest in both these products among broadcast engineers attending the show.
