SANTA BARBARA, CALIFORNIA. June 2, 2004. Moseley Broadcast announced today that after a one-month successful trial period, WNYW Fox 5 in New York City is successfully transmitting digital television images over a telco network. Due to line of site limitations, Fox 5 was not able to use traditional microwave links to transmit their digital programming. The solution included the installation of a Moseley DV-Mux, giving Fox 5 the ability to send two high definition DVB/ASI streams over leased DS3 lines.
Moseley Broadcast continues a long tradition of leading edge technology for the broadcast industry with the DV Mux. With the capability to convert, integrate, groom and multiplex multiple video/audio/data streams, the DV-Mux provides transmission alternatives for broadcasters.
