The Wharf Cable Network is the fourth radio/TV Telecontrol System designed and installed for the island of Hong Kong. Moseley's MRC-2 based system allows the control of these facilities from up to four separate control points over radio, cellular and telephone communication lines.

Supply of a National Transposer Control System
for the Government of the Sultanate of Oman

Moseley was selected by Thomson LGT and the Ministry of Information for Moseley's proven track record of designing and supplying nationwide broadcast control networks on a turnkey basis.

Solar power system in Oman. This system will monitor and control close to 80 transposer sites through 13 base stations and 10 repeater stations. Each trasnposer site is equipped with a Moseley MRC 1620. An extensive VHF radio has also been provided to allow for interrogation of all the MRC 1620s. Upon receiving a poll the MRC 1620 will report by exception all alarms.

Fm/TV Control Network for the
Ministry of Information of Saudi Arabia

Moseley designed and supplied an Fm/TV Control Network for the Ministry of Information for Saudi Arabia. The contract was awarded through STESA. STESA is working with the Government of Saudi Arabia to install various radio/television networks.

The system will monitor and control three major FM/TV transmission facilities. On each site Fm and TV transmitters, as well as microwave, building and electrical equipment, will be monitored and controlled. The systems supplied involved, in addition to transmitter control, integration and remote control of program selection equipment as well as audio/video quality monitoring equipment. Up to five audio/video programs can be selected for each of the two Fm and TV transmission channels. The intelligent coprocessor card of the MRC-2 was used to communicate over and RS232 interface to a Tektronix VM 700 video analyzer.

Sixteen user-defined parameters were then remotely transferred to the main control video center. Loss of audio and loss of video detection were also provided. Equipment from over ten different manufactures were integrated in F.F. shielded racks MRC-2 MasterController software was used to provide user-friendly displays, on-line help and alarm information.
